Archaic pottery in Magna Achaea,Sybaris-Skidros
KANTHAROS.
Imported Achaian and lokally produced pottery occurs in Magna Graecia,Sisily and beyond, found in Sybaris, but also in other Burra settlements.
The most characteristic Boura-Achaian shape- the Kantharos- is discussed within the context of his home region, including Helike.
Examples of Archaic Achaian pottery in Magna Graecia are assembled and the distribution is compared that of Achaian imports in the Late Bronze Age.
